We are currently looking for an enthusiastic multi-tasker to join our dynamic front of house Clinic Coordinator team here at one of the most prestigious private clinics in the UK in the field of laser eye surgery, located on Harley Street. We are seeking a team player who enjoys working in a fast paced, challenging and friendly environment.

THE OPPORTUNTIY:
The clinic enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in clinical care and research. You will be working alongside an experienced and expert team of surgeons, optometrists and other professionals. Training is provided to meet our standard operating procedures, unique techniques and eye care; previous experience in a refractive environment is not a requirement.

THE ROLE:
The role involves:

- Meeting and greeting patients and ensuring an outstanding level of customer service is provided.
- Managing and coordinating our busy Surgeon and Optometrist diaries as well as communicating with our nursing and sales team in order to facilitate a smooth patient journey.
- Coordinating patients on their day of surgery; reassuring and guiding them.
- Booking appointments and dispensing drops.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- A minimum of two years’ experience in a reception/front of house role or in a fast-paced high-end retail environment.
- Outgoing, friendly manner.
- Enjoy providing warm, professional care to patients.
- A self-starter and an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic.
- You enjoy working in a fast paced, highly pressured environment where excellence in patient care is the paramount goal.
- You must be able to multitask and juggle a large workload as well as being confident in communicating with people from all walks of life.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, organisational skills and time management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:Meet and greet patients and ensure all the patient’s needs are met while visiting the practice**
- Liaising with Surgeons, Optometrists, Nurses and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure the smooth running of the patients journey within the clinic
- Managing and coordinating multiple complex diaries of 8 Optometrists and 4 Surgeons.
- Initial point of contact and gatekeeping for all patients, daily vendors, visiting clinicians and contractors
- Fast-paced multi-tasking, completing tasks quickly in line with protocols and appropriately responding to priority situations
- Dispensing eye drops - full training given to achieve Level 2 Dispensing Assistant Qualification
- Taking payments and processing refunds on several databases
- Gathering feedback from patients via questionnaires, testimonials and electronic methods
- Keeping clinic areas clean and tidy and of an excellent standard
- To complete all relevant administration including scanning patient information, booking appointments, preparing templates, updating patient databases and making sure legal documents are submitted correctly
- To play an active part in the maintenance of a supportive learning environment within the clinic
- Opening and closing of the premises
- Run external surgeons’ clinics including liaising with their offices regarding booking appointments, payments and dealing with enquiries and complaints
- Helping less able patients to access clinic and anticipating individual needs
- Must assist all other teams where necessary
THE HOURS:
The typical shift schedule can varies daily and generally comprises

6:30-15:00, 08:00-16:30, 9:00-17:30, 9:30-18:00 and 12:00-20:30 Monday through to Friday.

**The role would start Monday to Friday then progress to every Saturday with a day off in the week**

PACKAGE:
A basic salary of £25,000. We provide private health insurance and private dental insurance to all our full-time staff.
