We are looking for an outgoing professional who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities. The Support Worker will be part of a team supporting an individual in her home.You will be assisting with physical care, mentorship and listening and chatring with her. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with diverse individuals and can effectively communicate with various types of people. We are looking for a Support Workers who has training in working with people with disabilities and is able to effectively commit to the responsibilities of this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote the health and wellbeing of people with disabilities and/or complex needs.
- Observe and record behaviour of people with disabilities/complex needs.
- Prepare reports as required by statutory authorities and/or management.
- Facilitate movement around the community in which a person lives, including public transport and taxis.
- Communicate with relatives and other professionals about a person's well-being.
- Be responsible for the safety, security, and well-being of a person.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £11.42-£12.00 per hour
