An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Change Grow Live’s (CGL) Young People’s Service in Lambeth.

**Responsibilities**:
CGL in Lambeth is a confidential drug and alcohol service for young people under 18. We offer advice and support to young people in the Lambeth Borough who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol. This support includes specialist care planned interventions as well as targeted group work, outreach and brief interventions. The service works in a holistic way with young people and works closely with local partners in ensuring a multi-agency approach to treatment.

The post holder will:

- Coordinate the prevention and early intervention activity across the service - This includes professionals training programmes, brief interventions, group work and assertive outreach.
- Coordinate low level interventions with identified targeted groups and individuals who are considered ‘at risk’ though substance misuse.
- Recruit, induct, train and manage a small number of volunteers and peer mentors.

You will have previous experience of working with and engaging young people in a community setting - supporting vulnerable young people to access support and make positive client led changes.
