**Principal Responsibilities**
- To effectively manage the planning and delivery of all programmes assigned to Green Labyrinth;
- To manage teaching, learning support and administration teams in line with the company’s current HR policies and procedures;
- To work closely with the Head of Learning Support to ensure learners receive the support in which they are entitled.
- To ensure the health and safety of learners and staff operating with the education and work-based learning provision;
- To set and maintain high standards of learner conduct and undertake remedial action, when appropriate;
- To organise delivery of the programmes such that it demonstrates adherence to the principles of widening participation, inclusiveness and equality of opportunity;
- To engage with employers and industry representatives across Swindon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire;
- To monitor and evaluate the quality of delivery and develop an annual Self-Assessment Report and Continuous Improvement Plan;
- To manage effective quality improvement processes to ensure programmes deliver high-quality learning experiences for learners, including, teaching and learning observations, learner voice, employer voice, data collection and analysis and assessment of learner work and establish key performance indicators to drive quality improvement and meet contractual income targets;
- To be responsible for the performance outcomes of the education and work-based learning programmes and address areas of underperformance through robust action planning;
- To identify and embed a range of intervention strategies to continually drive up standards and improve outcomes in order to achieve excellence;
- To effectively manage the profiling of contract volumes to meet demand in respect of the local and national priorities;
- To be responsible for the activity of the provision against profiles ensuring contract volumes are expended;
- To oversee Information Management system and ensure electronic returns to the ESFA are timely and data is accurate;
- To ensure appropriate evidence is available to support future audit requirements;
- To ensure that data is held and stored in compliance with GDPR;
- To initiate and participate in marketing and learner recruitment activities;
- To engage in an annual appraisal interview with the line manager and to undertake annual appraisal interviews with staff within the departments;
- To work with other external referral and support agencies as appropriate;
- To maximise the use of accommodation and other resources;
- To manage the company’s budget in alignment with College financial regulations and to produce regular reports where appropriate;
- To facilitate monthly staff meetings;
- To provide termly reports to the Green Labyrinth Board in relation to the operational activities of the company and reaffirm the provision is successfully supporting local and regional needs;
- To provide an annual report to the College’s Corporation Board informing them of the performance and quality of the provision.

- Relevant Level 6 qualification (Degree or equivalent) - Essential

- Experience of driving and improving Quality standards - Essential
- Experience of leading and motivating a team of staff - Essential

- Experience of an Ofsted Inspection - Essential
- IT Literate (equivalent to level 3) - Essential
- Level 2 qualification in English (GCSE or equivalent) - Essential
