**Quality Assurance Assistant**

**Location**:Southampton, Chilworth
**Salary**: £20,000 to £30,000 DOE
**Hours**:36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

**What are we looking for?**

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant to join our QA team.

As a QA Assistant, you will be responsible for assuring laboratory projects (studies) are completed in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations and in compliance with our ISO management systems.

GLP gives assurance that study data submitted to regulatory authorities is accurate, valid and of sound integrity.

**In addition to this as our Quality Assurance Assistant you will be responsible for**:

- Providing administrative support as part of QA team
- Assisting with GLP audits (study plan, test, report and facility audits) and production of their reports
- Management and distribution of controlled documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Forms and Templates
- Administration of the GLP Master File
- Attendance of on-site GLP meetings
- Follow up of corrective actions to ensure that all actions have been completed and have achieved their desired outcome
- Provision of QA information, advice and guidance for laboratory staff as necessary
- Support QA in the completion of projects identified by the business.

**In order to be successful in this role you must have**:

- QA experience ideally but the ability to demonstrate attention to detail would be sufficient
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An effective team player working with the laboratories’ teams and study directors to ensure projects meet the requirements of GLP regulations.
- Ability to provide negative feedback in a confident manner.
