Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safeguarding Development Team. We are recruiting a full-time permanent Safeguarding Co-ordinator/Senior Practitioner.

This permanent role is for a registered social worker with a proven record of being able to work in partnership with colleagues and partners to support and manage change, who is confident in presenting, supporting learning and reflective practice and advising on complex safeguarding enquiries.

The work of the Safeguarding Development Team is focused on supporting and enhancing safeguarding practice within Adult Social Care.

In addition, there will be a need to support the review and development of guidance to ensure statutory duties and effective practice is communicated to colleagues and partners, prepare presentations and briefings on a range of safeguarding topics, including learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews, as well as exciting opportunities to support the work of the Safeguarding Adults Board and engaging with key partner agencies.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
