We are currently looking for a compassionate, outgoing Support Worker to care for our client in Billericay. Our client is an active, young, ex-professional sports Man who requires day-to-day support with diary management, cognitive rehabilitation, and accessing community.

Our client enjoys going to the gym, playing golf, cinemas and restaurants. This role would suit someone who has a keen interest in football and other sports, and is energetic. The main goal is to help build his confidence and promote his independence.

You will:

- Have a very keen interest in football and other sports **(essential)**:

- Be eligible to work in the U.K.
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to your own vehicle **(essential)**

Main duties:

- Accompany our client to various places of interests, including leisure and social venues.
- Work with visiting health professionals, and provide support
- Safeguarding our client and supporting with social wellbeing at all times
- Observing the immediate environment of our client to prevent falls
- Assisting with light meal/snack preparation
- Liaise with management, in confidence, about our client's general progress, reporting any incidents that are either unusual or give cause for concern
- Ensuring all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard
- Participate in meetings called by Management
- Be flexible to cover for others if required

We train all of our Support Workers to the highest CQC standards and support them fully in their careers in the care sector.

We offer an induction programme to all of our Support Workers to complete their Care certificate. Options to continue training to NVQ 2 and 3 will be made available to all employees.
