Activities Co-ordinator

Orchard Views Residential Home is dedicated to providing a safe, caring, environment within a care home setting for residents and their families. Our mission is to provide a high quality of care that is responsive to the individual needs of each service user while promoting their physical, mental, social, emotional and cognitive development.
**Summary**:
The Activities co-ordinator is responsible for the overall operation of the Activities program at the Barnsley location. This position will manage the day-to-day activities of the program including but not limited to: daily planning, implementation and monitoring of program goals and objectives; supervision of other programs; coordination of activities; supervision of community partners; providing support for special events. The Activities co-ordinator will report to the Home Manager.
**Requirements**:
- Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events/activities
- Must be able to work with individuals with disabilities in order to ensure that all activities are inclusive and accessible to all service users.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
- Experience within a health and social care environment
- Must be able to transport clients in a recreational vehicle in accordance with state regulations.
- Team player
- Have an up to date enhanced DBS preferably on the update system
