The Lennox Partnership are delighted to announce that we have been selected for a new contract in relation with Scottish Refugee Council to deliver tailored support for Refugee individuals into gaining sustainable employment.

**We are recruiting for an Employment Advisor for 7 months full-time contract.**

**Main duties include**:

- Managing caseload of Refugees participants to ensure appropriate and effective high-level activity is undertaken.
- Conducting initial diagnostic assessment with all participants to access and evaluate work readiness.
- Conduct skills analysis including transferable skills and job match to sectors / opportunities available within current economic climate.
- Address participants personal constraints to employment, providing advice and guidance where appropriate to develop capability in the recruitment process
- Creating multiple tailored CV’s and covering letters (sector specific) for effective job search and interviews.
- Create SMART personalized, structured action plans assessing and reviewing progression regularly.
- Adhering to all contractual compliance and company policies.
- Adhering to all GDPR and Safeguarding to ensure participant and colleagues are protected at all times.
- Develop and maintain relationships within network of key stakeholders including employers, local Jobcentre teams and funding providers.
- Working to meet performance targets and Key Performance Indicators.
- Deliver labor market driven workshops i.e., Employer pre-screens, Interview Techniques

**Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Multilingual or experience supporting those whose first language is not English would be advantageous but not necessary.
- Experience working with refugees or other vulnerable groups.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment delivering results, achieving targets and Key Performance Indicators.
- Ability to build rapport, engage and coach individuals to progress.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be enthusiastic and motivational building positive and encouraging relationships.
- Knowledge of the employability sector.
- Experience and confident to deliver workshops to groups.
- The ability to build rapport and work effectively with challenging individuals.
- Experience of working within a target driven environment.
- Driving license and access to own car is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
