We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, passionate person to join our Learning and Organisational Development Team Apprentice Centre who will network/engage with schools, colleges, job centres, Health and Social Care employers across the East and Rural areas of Lincolnshire.

The role is designed to provide information, advice, and guidance on apprenticeship pathways to these stakeholders that supports future employment and career progression aligned to ‘growing our own’ in Lincolnshire.

We recognise the right person may not always have the essential criteria, so we will also consider applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and behaviours on a development pathway too.

Plan and implement relationship marketing through communications projects that will attract new apprentices to Lincolnshire Health and Care Apprenticeship Centre across the East Coast and Rural areas.

Commission, write, edit, proof-read, co-ordinate internal and external publications, leaflets and advice documents; write press releases (where appropriate), articles; that promote the attraction of new apprenticeships both inside LCHS and in the Lincolnshire system.

Supporting the Lincolnshire Health and Care Apprenticeship Centre. team to ensure the delivery of effective media and digital media services, including coordinating responses to media enquiries and publishing information to the websites, intranets and social networking sites
Provide information and advice and guidance to managers and staff, internally and externally to the Trust.

Attend career fairs, recruitment events, schools and colleges to act in the capacity of a health and social care ambassador to support new Apprentices joining the Health & Social Care workforce across the East Coast on behalf of the Trust.

LCHS NHS Trust holds the status of a Main Provider and has been delivering apprenticeships since 2017. We have recently undertaken a full OFSTED inspection holding the status of ‘GOOD’.

Arranging media interviews/events and photo calls with apprentices or managers, attending and supporting when appropriate.

Assisting with any NHS England or Public Health England campaigns around apprenticeships. Support local system working campaigns on the attraction and delivery of apprenticeships.

Analysing and evaluating impact of Apprenticeship campaigns on key target audiences to inform future campaign plans

Contributes to the development of all vocational pathways
Supporting creation of information and materials to support apprenticeship events.

Prepare accurate and concise reports, both written and verbal using Ecordia electronic portfolios and Cognisoft Learner Management system

Deploy effective communication strategies to ensure that information and knowledge is imparted sensitively according to needs of patients, staff and learners in training

Acting as a source of advice and leadership to the Business Support function within the Learning and Organisational development Team as enquiries are received for apprenticeships.

To create and maintain collaborative and constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through attendance at appropriate groups, forums and other meetings/ events as required

Promote a positive relationship with all stakeholders within LCHS and the wider Lincolnshire System

Provision of information, advice and guidance to all learners whilst on programme

Answering general enquires using initiative and tact, dealing independently with routine business matters, taking, and passing on messages, drafting correspondence as appropriate in a prompt and efficient manner, and ensuring that issues of concern are brought to the attention of the Apprentice Lead.

Assisting with diary arrangements, making appointments, arranging meetings (including liaising with colleagues, booking rooms, ordering refreshments, signing hire agreements for venues, preparing, and circulating relevant papers and taking notes on occasion).
