Summary

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy assistant to join our ongoing support teams in Trowbridge and Chippenham.

**About the role**

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work with Occupational Therapists to support the provision of adaptations for those with complex need.

You will have your own caseload and make assessments regarding adaptations for people with non-complex difficulties.

Under the supervision of the qualified therapists, you will refer people for Disabled Facilities Grants, and liaise with our inhouse home improvement service to arrange adaptations to meet people’s needs.

You will also provide any equipment required to support people, reduce risk, and increase their independence.

**About You**

Ideally you will have experience of working with people with disabilities in the community.

You will receive training, regular supervision and be supported by Occupational Therapists within the team.
