We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our innovative Main Outpatient department, at Imperial College Health Care Trust based in Charing Cross Hospital.

This is an exciting role for the post holder within the Outpatients Department. The post holder will have leadership skills and be able to fully support the team of reception staff and any apprentices. You must be proactive in your approach with a focus on staff development and patient experience.

You will effectively supervise reception staff to ensure that allocated staff members have annual appraisals, training and development, follow policy and procedure within the OPD and act as a deputy to band 5 Service Support Manager when required.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing the best patient experience is essential for this role.
- To supervise the Outpatient administrative team.
- To be the contact point for all administrative queries relating to the day to day running of the administration areas within the outpatient directorate
- Supervises administrative processes of the Outpatient service at designated sites.
- Supervises the planning and prioritization of outpatient administrative tasks
- Supervises team members and tasks in reception and & administrative functions in a range of outpatient settings as required
- Supports implementation of new systems e.g. Cerner appointments system. Provides cross site support to Service Support Manager to enable co-operation within and amongst teams
