We are seeking to recruit two Telecare Officers.

Can you deliver the highest level of solution-orientated customer care to our Telecare service users? Are you caring? Do you have an eye for detail? If so this exciting post is for you.

You will be the first point of contact in a fast moving, multi-functional 24/7/365 emergency operation centre. Taking a key role in supporting vulnerable customers, responding to life and limb telecare/telehealth services, by building supportive customer relationships through effective communication and liaison.

You will respond to Telecare emergency calls from a range of service users; you will provide reassurance and arrange the appropriate response for the most vulnerable when needed. In addition to this you will take Out of Hours calls covering a range of council services.

You will be required to work creatively in an innovative integrated manner, in line with the scope and vision of the Operations Centre, ensuring that improved services are delivered to vulnerable people in Bristol and beyond.

You will ensure excellent communication, customer service, and accuracy, including liaising with the public, internal and external customers, as well as using your own initiative to solve problems. Good IT skills and confidence in the use of Microsoft Office are also required

**You will be working in a 24/7critical emergency response environment, with the requirement to work a shift pattern**
**to include weekends and bank holidays (additional allowance of £12.34 per hour plus time of in lieu applies for Bank holiday working).**
