Human Resources lead the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. The Performance Management specialist is responsible for supporting the re-design and subsequent build and Group-wide implementation of HSBC’s approach to Performance Management. This is a key part of a flagship HR change programme at HSBC, focussed on pay and performance, to deliver an excellent colleague experience and create a dynamic culture where the best talent will want to work.

In this role, you will:

- Support the Performance Management Change Director to design and run the performance management change programme and associated governance, with a particular focus on programme management collaboration
- Lead the preparation and creation of materials to update the programme sponsors including the Group Head of Performance and Reward, the HR Executive Committee and the Group Executive Committee
- Work closely with the Reward Product Owner, Pay & Reward delivery lead and others to ensure timely communication and seamless implementation and transition to BAU, managing key relationships with stakeholders and GSOs to support the product owner
- Drive product specialist partnership with P&R teams on performance management, particularly the P&R Forum and regional counterparts supporting pilot roll-outs
- Management of our external thought leadership relationships to ensure access to and awareness of market and trend insights to support the programme (ensuring designs are future proof and effective).

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- It is essential that the role holder must be an advocate for change with proven track record of working on successful implementations of change initiatives and programmes, ideally within performance and reward
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage a diverse stakeholder group, ideally in a matrix organisation
- Knowledge of financial services performance and reward practices in global organisations. Regional experience would be helpful to ensure suitability of the end product for all colleagues, irrespective of their location
- A highly collaborative style, strong teamwork and a can -do attitude
- The role holder will have a breadth of Human Resources knowledge and experience, which is essential for success.
- Scrum/Agile experience desirable.

The base location for this role is London, with hybrid working patterns in place.
