Applicants should note that DBS has recently undertaken a review of its operational locations in the North West, and will consolidate all activities in Blackpool. This means that DBS staff will move from both Walker House (Liverpool) and Cheadle Hulme in the late Summer of 2023 and initially relocate to Tomlinson House (Norcross). A further move, to the new Government Hub at Talbot Gateway in Blackpool, is scheduled to take place in 2026.

As a result, all vacant DBS posts in the North West will be advertised at Tomlinson House (Norcross). There is, however, an expectation that all DBS staff, irrespective of their agreed duty station, will travel to other DBS and/or MOD site(s), as required, to complete all necessary training and to participate in team or additional collaborative activities - detached duty terms may apply. Terms of transfer have been negotiated for DBS posts relocating in the North West. DBS also supports Flexible Working, which can be discussed in more detail at interview.

**Job description**:
The roles are responsible for the collation, analysis and reporting of performance indicators, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), performance indicators (PIs) and benchmarking data on monthly basis.
- The postholders are responsible for collation, analysis and reporting of key corporate data, including:
- Looking at key performance areas and comparing against agreed performance targets to identify any dips in performance
- Benchmarking
- Statistics in relation to service performance

The postholders will work with internal business areas, customers and external stakeholders to ensure relevant performance and benchmarking reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performance:
- Deliver the monthly performance reporting process to a timetable.
- Support production of monthly data reports to show performance against key performance indicators.
- Analysis of performance data to establish trends, opportunities and highlight points for investigation/escalation.
- Development and implementation of new measurements.
- Assessing potential changes to performance metrics.
- Lead and facilitate complex discussions and stakeholder workshops with a diverse range of stakeholders to reach agreements on the way forward.
- Benchmarking:
- Development of raw data and performance information into benchmarking returns.
- Analysis of benchmarking data to establish trends, opportunities and highlight points for investigation/escalation.
- Analysis of options and problem solving to find sustainable business solutions to improve services.
