**Job Role**: Maintenance Worker

**Salary**:£27,800 per year

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week

**Contract type**:Permanent

**Location**:Based at either of our offices in Bath, Somerset or North Somerset, however, will be required to travel to all locations

**Additional information**:

- Valid UK driver's licence.
- Flexibility required to work outside of typical working hours.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces.

**The Role**:
The successful Maintenance Officer will provide preventative (planned), responsive and emergency maintenance to support upkeep of CAS3 (Community Accommodation Service) properties, with additional assistance when in demand allows to Julian house properties, charity shops, bike workshops, offices, equipment, furniture and fittings.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Inspection, maintenance and repair of premises, fixtures, fittings and furniture to ensure correct working conditions
- Advise the Line Manager of any maintenance problems which may affect the efficient running of any property
- The successful completion of maintenance request tasks, necessary updates, and the closure of completed request
- Undertake annual inspections to ensure necessary safe operation and calibration ensuring legislative requirements are met regarding powered equipment, machinery, chemicals, ladders, etc
- Undertaking risk assessments in accordance with Julian House guidelines and procedures

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- A valid UK driving licence
- Wide knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance including carpentry, painting/decorating, plumbing and electrical works
