Job description:
We are looking for a passionate individual who is looking to grow their career in ecommerce.
With the support of the graphic & ecommerce assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring
that our products are strongly presented on the website to our customers, with all product data
available and accurate plus great imagery. This role is important as you will be responsible for
helping to entice our customers to buy. As well as maintaining the data integrity of products,
you will work on adding new brands/products to the website, creating new categories and
merchandising products using a combination of sales data and product knowledge.

What you will be doing:

- Maintaining the data of existing products and making updates when needed
- Cropping, resizing and uploading product imagery
- Assist the graphic & ecommerce assistant in updating the content on the homepage
- Optimise site navigation, customer journey and product placement to drive online sales
- Support the graphic & ecommerce assistant in delivering seasonal promotions across
the website, creating promotional codes, delivery or category promotions, in line with
the company trading calendar
- Optimise site and customer journey during daily site walks and data analysis as well as
ensuring products and categories are displayed correctly and all links are correct
- Using analytics and reporting to understand the customer journey to optimise sales,
measure performance & make recommendations to the wider business.
- Reviewing the onsite search results to ensure that the correct products are appearing
for relevant search terms.
- Create landing pages for campaigns
- Troubleshooting on the website and logging/reporting all issues to the relevant parties
- Working with the copywriter to add SEO copy to products
- Supporting the ecommerce team with any ad-hoc requirements and reporting

The person:

- Passion for ecommerce and digital with at least 1 year’s experience working on a CMS.
Adobe Commerce experience would be beneficial
- A strong work ethic
- Must be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Team player - can collaborate alongside others
- Proactive and a self-starter with a focus on getting things done
- Detail orientated and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail as you will be dealing with a lot of data
- Experience with MS Office, especially Excel and basic IT skills
- HTML experience a plus

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
