This role is responsible as part of a team for the daily delivery of security performance with a focus on compliance.
Covering airside areas, this role will be based in the Cargo Estate and is a non-shift-based role with Monday to Friday hours with occasional out-of-hours work where required.

**Your role will involve**:
- Working with the team of Security Managers, Security Officers and Security Operations Managers to effectively support and lead a protection focus.
- Ensuring that all changes and updates to security protocol and operating practices are clearly communicated to Security Officers and operational management teams.
- Proactively seeking to identify and counter-trends through reviews and improvement plans.
- Being the central point of contact for Compliance/Protection related activities in your business unit, for internal and external stakeholders, including the regulator.
- Engaging and having meaningful conversations on-the-job and at the moment with Security teams and through more formalised interventions such as one-to-ones and team and shift briefings.
- Working with the Security Assurance team, to ensure security standards are reviewed and up to date.
- Creating and delivering initiatives aimed to improve and evolve compliance performance.
**These skills are essential**:
- In-depth knowledge of Heathrow’s policy and standards with experience working with our regulators
- A passion for building great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in a heavily regulated and process-driven environment, or capability to do so.
- Evidence of initiating and delivering continuous improvement.
- Evidence of a passion for Compliance and Protection and a desire to improve performance in this area.
**Ideally, you’ll also have**:
- Experience in leading a team to deliver consistently high-performance standards in a large volume, complex and high-profile customer-facing operation.
- Proven capability, confidence, and resilience in responding to operational disruption and incident
