Marketing Event Manager needed to join our growing team on a permanent basis, this role offers hybrid working.

Your main role will be to plan, manage and run physical (IRL) and digital events which support our key marketing campaigns and partner relationships, overseeing all aspects of event management including delegate recruitment, content and agenda planning andlogistics

The aim of these events is to help nurture prospects into clients. Therefore everything that you do will be designed around how best to convert this interest into new business whilst delivering events and experiences that are in keeping with our brand andwhich excite and delight our attendees.

You will join a dynamic and fast-paced team working in one of the most exciting areas of business; online commerce, digital and technology. As such, you will be at the forefront of packaging and presenting products and services that businesses need to survivein the modern world.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Planning, management organisation and delivery of events. This will include:

- Taking briefs from business stakeholders and designing events accordingly
- Identifying "on-brief" physical venues
- Organising and managing virtual event platforms and partners
- Working alongside venues and organisers to ensure that the "experience", be that online or physical, is on brand
- Working with the marketing team and our SMEs to create inspiring agendas that make our events 'the place to be’
- Creating engaging, events related content, by working with our agency partners
- Managing internal stakeholders to ensure that they are fully engaged and provide their expertise when needed
- Working with our CRM team to manage all aspects of the delegate experience from invitation to post event communication, including:

- Delegate segmentation & recruitment
- Content and agenda planning
- Creation of all AV aspects of the event, working with eg. our video partners
- Delegate engagement
- Attendance management and follow ups
- Working with our technology partners eg. Adobe, Salesforce etc. to develop joint events or managing our sponsorship of their owned events
- Managing our sponsorship and presence at certain industry events eg. OMR, Festival of Marketing
- Working with event partners to widen our audience reach eg. BIMA
- Analysis and reporting of key success metrics, proving ROI
- Working alongside the Business Development team to drive leads through the sales funnel
- Effectively manage events to budget and tight deadlines
- Where relevant, work alongside our PR team to promote events
- Work alongside our Global Marketing Team to keep them aware of any planned events and to solicit support where possible, also to support events that are initiated by them
- Support and help our colleagues across the world to replicate events in their regions
- Provide events expertise for our EMEA team, our global team and our partner marketing team

**What we want from you**:

- Previous experience of managing, delivering and running events
- The ability to take a brief and independently run with it - owning it from conception, through delivery, to follow up.
- Strong project management skills with great organisational and time management
- Experience managing budgets
- Strong negotiation skills
- The right attitude and drive to succeed - we don’t expect you to know everything about commerce and technology, but we want you to be driven to learn more
- Excellent planning and communication skills, with the ability to use events to present our complex products, services and ideas via engaging and entertaining physical and digital experiences
- Strong collaboration and communication skills - you will be working across multiple stakeholders inside and outside the business
- Experience in a fast-moving, complex environment, overcoming obstacles to deliver to plan

- Understanding of digital commerce, digital marketing and buyer journeys
- Confident Powerpoint skills
- Experience in B2B Marketing
- Confidence with technology concepts (no special knowledge required)
