We are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Specialistto further strengthen our customer-focused team within our Supply Chain & Contracts department. The Senior Contracts Specialist is responsible for satisfactorily protecting the contractual and commercial interest of the company in respect of the project in all its activities and transactions, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to.

The work is primarily based in Aberdeen with occasional travel to other MDL locations.

Ideally, you will be able to:

- Drive clear and concise communication channels.
- Demonstrate coaching and mentoring techniques.
- Juggle multiple projects and inputs while working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple departments and suppliers to achieve a common goal
- Be Service Oriented and Client Focused
- Demonstrate qualification to Bachelor’s degree level or relevant experience in pertinent discipline preferred
- Competently use all Microsoft packages including Outlook, Projects, Excel, Word & SharePoint
- Multi task, work under high pressure and as part of a team
- Work on own initiative and be self-motivated
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn & adapt
- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of management, personnel, clients & other stakeholders
- Show attention to detail
- Be Proactive, flexible and decisive
- Innovate and challenge
