Reporting to the Head of Inclusion/SENCo
Duties and Responsibilities:
- tracking and monitoring the attendance and behaviour logs of all students on the SEN register and taking appropriate actions/interventions to support those students. Strategies will include mentoring, behaviour support plans, attendance support, liaison with students/parents/staff and external agencies. Providing analysis of key figures to all stakeholders
- organising, managing, and planning mentoring interventions to support targeted students and working alongside the SEND team, safeguarding team and external agencies
General Responsibilities:
- to keep detailed records of any interventions and support offered
- to undertake training as appropriate and attend staff development days in accordance with hours worked
- to support and promote the values and positive ethos of the academy and wider community
