Residential Lettings Consultant

**We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a part time first class lettings consultant, this could be an entry level role into the world of residential property lettings or suitable for someone with previous experience, this role reports directly to the head of the lettings department.**

Flexible, self motivated, highly organised and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast moving environment (In other words you won’t get bored, things change quickly, you’ve got to be able to live with that).

The kind of person who sees possibilities rather than problems, possesses a can do attitude and is able to bring energy and fun to the role.

Here are a list of tasks this role involves but is by no means all of them
- Meeting prospective tenants and being an amazing viewing agent
- Carrying out tenant visits professionally whilst being friendly
- Answering the phone and finding solutions for the latest issues
- Creating and uploading social media posts
- Being an admin demon, we hold lots of information here
- Using checklists, they will be your best friend
- Becoming a trusted advisor to our tenants and landlords
- Nurturing relationships with contractors
- Thinking of ways to improve our first class service
- Helping our business grow by being amazing and thinking outside the box
- Being an excellent communicator, being patient and understanding as moving home or being a landlord can be very stressful
- Using our data systems to create notes and records to make sure we know what’s happening
- Finding out about potential new tenants so we can match them to the best new home
- Learning how to prioritise tasks, after all no heating in the winter is an emergency
- Being here full time but that sometimes includes occasional evenings and weekends
- Being good at time keeping, no one likes late
- Learning about the all important legal side of lettings to help our clients stay above board
- Sitting exams to further your personal and professional development and occasionally attending residential courses

Education - 5 GCSEs minimum grade C/4+ (must include maths and English)
