An exciting opportunity has become available within Integrated Care for a Clinical practice Facilitator (CPF). The CPF’s are part of the wider Nursing team and have a role in supporting learners in the workplace.

The role is varied supporting teams across five units. The post holder will be responsible for registered and unregistered staff ensuring trust training and competency compliance.

Under the direction of the Lead Clinical Practice Facilitator, and the support from Senior Sisters, the Matron and other MDT you will have the opportunity to support and facilitate learners and newly qualified healthcare professionals in practice on a range of educational and training programmes.

You will be able to further develop your coaching, teaching, and assessment skills for learners on pre and post registration programs, return to practice and also the health care certificate programme.

As post holder you will deliver induction, training and ongoing support with clear objectives, which will involve working clinically with the learners as well as facilitating study days, and workshops.

You should possess excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to negotiate learning objectives and give challenging feedback.

Clinical practice facilitators will organise and deliver induction for new starters to the Integrated care business group.

ensure all staff have evidence of competency for the use of clinical equipment.

They will provide clinical skills updates, supervised practice and competency assessment for clinical development.

the post holder will demonstrate effective clinical prioritisation and leadership skills by being a good role model.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
