Our client is a very well established and respected professional service company based in the centre of Rugby. They have grown year on year and are now looking for an experienced HR Manager to take the helm and develop the HR strategy in line with companyexpectations.

This is a generalist all-round, stand-alone HR position to develop and manage the people management strategy.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Review, update and create HR policies and procedures
- Advising managers on HR and employee relations matters
- Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding process
- Establish best practice and support managers through the implementation of new induction, 1-2-1 and annual performance / appraisal process
- Raising employee engagement and taking the company through positive change to more pro-active HR place
- Succession planning and training needs analysis to develop employees with skills gaps and co-ordinate training
- Work with the leadership team on change management and organisational development
- Varied, hands-on role, project work and development to take the HR department to the next level

**Skills and experience required**:

- CIPD Level 5 qualified or QBE, with high level of legislation understanding
- Excellent communication skills, leading and delivering the marketing strategy for the business in an approachable and engaging manner
- Significant standalone HR experience
- Proactive, friendly and positive approach to problem solving and persuasive manner
- Methodical and self-motivated to deliver results

**Hours of work**:

- Monday to Friday, 8.30am or 9am start - 5pm or 5.30pm finish

**Salary and benefits**:

- £40,000 - £45,000
- 23 days annual holiday + 8 bank holidays and birthday off
