**Job summary**:
Disability Services are responsible for the delivery of Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance, Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit and access to Work. There are a range of roles available within the Products, Planning and Service Delivery Team who lead on the planning and reporting of deployment and productivity across all product lines along with change impacting, planning, implementation and communication.

The PIP Products Team are a small, Grade 7 led team responsible for the successful implementation of change within service delivery through delivery of effective communications, effective planning and strong collaborative working with multiple stakeholders. Additionally, the team lead on service assurance and delivery of test and learns.

**Job description**:

- Help drive performance and service assurance improvement across DS, working in partnership with the multiple stakeholders including the DS Senior Leadership Team, Service Planning and Design, Digital, CFCD and Operational Centre.
- Take forward and drive the continuous improvement agenda across all product lines.
- Lead on the implementation of test and learns within PIP service delivery ensuring clear communication and full evaluation
- Will help to successfully land change, providing a high calibre service in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Analysing, evaluating, and interpreting data and other relevant information to identify issues and proactively devise and develop options to solve problems and/or address areas of concern.
- Draft succinct, comprehensive, well-informed communications products to a high quality, with clearly defined options and well thought out recommendations for consideration by senior management.
- Regularly liaise with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, to gather and present appropriate briefings data and monitor progress.
- Arrange meetings and host regular calls with colleagues, leaders and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Present briefings and any findings to SLT and other colleagues as appropriate.

**Essential Criteria**
- Strong communications skills using a variety of communication methods including digital and telephony, demonstrating excellent drafting/briefing skills with the ability to confidently deliver messages and lead in-person and virtual meetings (Lead Criteria).
- Ability to work under pressure and ensure actions are completed in a timely manner, often to tight deadlines (2nd Lead Criteria).
- Strong evaluation skills.
- Sound and confident decision-making ability.
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Good communications skills
- Experience of working within a compliance, continuous improvement, and Service Assurance role.
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

DWP is a family-friendly employer and part-time and job-sharing working patterns within these hours **may be** available but must meet business needs.

The full-time working week for DWP is 37 hours. You may be required to work at any time between the hours 8am and 8pm on any day between Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday. You will be given advance notice of your personal schedule.

This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work.

**This role is not being offered as a permanent home working contract.**

Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. Relocation costs will not be reimbursed.

**Hybrid Working**

This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home.
