The aim of this role is to support the exciting development and implementation of our trailblazing ICS Academy, and its system focused strategic priorities. You will be providing the administrative support, drawing together multiple work streams, multi professional education faculties and functions ensuring that agreed outcomes have been achieved and aligned to the ICS People Plan priorities and the ICS Academy Model & Strategy. The role will be core to the operational direction of the Academy in setting a clear vision with its existing operational and governance model leading to demonstrable benefits to the H&W health and care workforce system, place and locality. The role will require managing cross organisational and external partnerships through new ways of working and gaining inclusive commitment. The role will build close working relationships with Health Education England, in close partnership with the ICS Academy Director and stakeholders: leading a variety of education, learning & development and workforce transformation work programmes for a new future focused system operating model.
- To act as a role model within the ICS Academy integrated team and for the team both within the hosted Trust and externally, demonstrating the Trust values at all times. To develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation and system including at a senior level.
- To be flexible with regard to providing administrative support across the ICS Academy function on a day-to-day basis.
- To take specific responsibility for particular administrative duties including project support as required by the ICS Academy Director and the ICS Academy Programme Lead.
- To provide project administrative support on work streams that are interdependent with other ICS People Board Thematic Groups.
- To administrate ICS Academy events including booking venues, coordinating funding, event planning, and coordinating the marketing and engagement required.
- To coordinate the ICS Academy work streams and ensuring diary arrangements, agendas, minutes, action logs are all kept up to date.

The Academy is a critical part of our ICS People Promise and Plan, and the Support Officer will work directly with the ICS Academy Director, Programme Lead & Project Manager in continuing to bring the Academy to life; aiding its direction in the provision of timely administrative support in reporting and relationship building with its many local partners and stakeholders; overseeing the administration of its functions, portfolios and interventions and working with partners such as Health Education England for its future success.
- The post holder will be required to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including the coordination of the ICS Talent Management & Leadership Development Framework Working Group
- Develop and implement data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data.
- Present information and issues, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- To liaise with other Managers to share best practice.
