An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term contract to assist with the roll out of the radiology alerts system to North Cumbria Integrated Care Clinicians.

North Cumbria Integrated Care provides radiology services comprising general radiography, dental, fluoroscopy, angiography, Bone Densitometry (DXA), CT, MR and ultrasound facilities.

This post will be radiology based but will require working relationships with users of the Rad Alerts System across the Trust.

Maintenance, configuration, development and day to day management of the Radiology Alerts System.

Act as a point of contact for escalation of radiology alerts to appropriate alternative clinician/group.

Provide ongoing training and support to clinicians and radiology staff on the use of Radiology Alerts System.

Provide support for Radiology Alerts System (RAD Alerts) software; liaising with IT support, project teams, external suppliers and other internal system administrators as necessary to maintain system security and resolve software and system operational problems.

Ensure database of Rad alert senders and recipients is established

Produce training material to support the integration of RAD Alert into use by the clinicians across the Trust.

Ensure process in place so that any Rad Alerts pertaining to external referrers are brought to their attention.

Identify clinicians/groups that are recurrently not actioning the rad alert, advise those clinicians/groups of this, provide them with training materials and initial support with their usage of the system.

Highlight any clinicians/groups that are recurrently failing to action the rad alert to the Radiology Information Systems Manager.

**Standard Check**: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

**Enhanced Check**: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
