You will play a key role in enabling the College meet our student recruitment goals through administration, support and co-ordination of a range of online and in-person events including campus tours, school visits, webinars, our Open Days and other recruitment events.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Student Recruitment Events Manager, and working closely with the Senior Events Officer, this is an important role to ensure the smooth administration and organisation of our programme of events for prospective students and their supporters. You will arrange the logistics for events, set-up online sessions, liaise with event contributors and respond to enquiries. The role has key responsibility for organising regular campus tours and school visits, co-ordinating student ambassadors, managing our storage areas, and managing the Events team inboxes, as part of a specialist function within the Student Recruitment team.

You will:

- Assist with the logístical arrangements of in-person and virtual events including the College’s Open Days, visit days, webinars and taster lectures
- Act as first contact point for internal enquiries regarding Open Days, working closely with different Imperial departments
- Setting-up and co-ordinating virtual events across all platforms used to run events
- Organise regular campus tours, including managing the booking form, setting off the tours, and answering questions from visitors
- Manage school and group visit requests, liaising with relevant recruitment colleagues to organise visits, and make room bookings
- Lead on the administration of Student Ambassadors, with responsibility for delivering training and ambassador briefings
- Responsible for managing the on-campus storage areas

**Essential requirements**:

- Experience of making logístical arrangements for events
- Experience of handling a high volume of enquiries
- Experience of providing excellent customer service in a customer-focused environment
- Experience of using online event platforms
- Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use initiative and cope with changing priorities or sudden demands
- Ability to act with a high level of professionalism, sensitivity and tact

**Further information**:
This post is full-time and will be offered on an open-ended contract. This role is hybrid and based at Imperial’s South Kensington Campus. The post holder will normally be expected to work 60% of their time on Campus, with 40% being the minimum time spent onsite.

Appointments are typically made at the first spine point of the job grade’s salary scale.
