**About The Role**:
Want to use your interpersonal skills over the telephone to provide vital support and services information to people affected by dementia?

As a Telephone Support Volunteer, you will help keep people affected by dementia connected to support and services available to them. You will be a key point of contact for people living with dementia and their carers and ensure that we keep in touch with people who need our support. You will provide a service tailored to a person's interests, abilities, history, and personality.
- We are looking for people to volunteer on a regular basis from our local office which is situated in Longton Stoke
- on-Trent. You would need to be competent using IT and comfortable speaking with service users over the phone.

**You’ll **be great for the role** if**:

- You want to enable people affected by dementia to access the right support.
- You have good verbal communication and listening skills, particularly on the telephone.
- You are perceptive and able to demonstrate empathy with others.
- You are flexible, willing to learn and enjoy being part of a team.
- You are over the age of 18
