We want to ensure that the young people we work with are supported to feeling cared for, cared about, and are given the support and advise they need to be able to make positive choices and care for themselves as they mature.

**The Role**

As an Advanced Practitioner you will assist the Enhanced Team Leader in the day to day running of the Asylum and Leaving Care Team and hold complex cases. Chair Pathway Plan Reviews, engage young people within the review process. Provide minutes, collate an overview summary, and provide recommendations. You will be involved in developing new processes and planning within the Leaving Care and Asylum Team.

Holding a small number of Social Care staff you will manage and develop supervisees through reflective supervision inclusive of group supervision through coaching and mentoring. Identifying training and development needs to deliver against service objectives ensuring positive outcomes for young people. Engage and monitor staff in addition to 'direct reports' to enable development within those given service areas, using thematic reviews of best practice examples to develop and implement improvement plans within the service.

As an Advanced Practitioner you will have a knowledge base of Leaving Care and the Warwickshire Local Offer. You will be required to work in partnership with other agencies to develop and provide services for services users. Through effective quality assurance and performance management you will play your part to ensure the service is 'inspection ready' at all times, with children and young people safeguarded.
