**JOB TITLE**:Office Manager

**LOCATION**: Wellington, Somerset. Office based and own transport required due to location.

**SALARY**: £23,000-£26,000 dependant on experience

**HOURS**: Monday
- Friday 8am
- 3pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays paid additionally at time and a half.

**BENEFITS**: 28 days holiday (there will be a requirement to work some bank holidays but you will be paid at time and a half and get a day back in lieu too) company pension through Nest, on-site parking, staff discounts on company products,the company also offer overtime to those wanting to earn extra money.

**THE COMPANY**: Our client are a well-established and award winning family business based in an idyllic location near Wellington. They successfully supply to both home based and retail customers and are looking for an Office Manager to jointheir growing team. This is new position and a great opportunity to really make the role your own, implement and develop systems and make a real difference to the business.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Managing the office and coordinating daily workload
- Liaising with all teams across the business to ensure a smooth service
- Promoting sales
- Developing & maintaining effective customer credit control systems
- Support the business Directors & helping with ad hoc projects when necessary
- Taking customer orders and building relationships
- Resolving escalated customer issues
- Support the Directors with the delivery of effective HR processes & administration
- General office duties including answering the phone, office filing & archiving

**THE PERSON**:

- Previous experience of supervising a team
- Calm and positive attitude
- Good business acumen
- Strong IT Skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers, suppliers & colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident telephone manner
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to problem solve
- Prior experience with updating social media and marketing (desirable)
- Understanding of basic HR processes (desirable)
