You will be responsible for the unloading and loading of a freighter operation. supporting drivers whilst they are driving to and from the aircraft collecting loads and offloads of cargo, mail, and courier. Full compliance with Company Security and H&S policies is mandatory. To support airside trucking in the Menzies cargo facility and ramp in Heathrow Operations.

You will support the Duty Managers and Freighter Officer as required and directed by them.
- Responsible for airside trucking operations and freighter operations to ensure resource allocation within agreed budget levels for long and short-term planning.
- Prepare where required for any new airline customer.
- You must oversee flights including freighter operation for a smooth turnround and on time departure.
- Develop Airside Trucking and freighter operation team through coaching and mentoring.
- Be able to stand in for the Freighter Officer if they are absent.
- Working a 4 on 3 off shift pattern which works alongside the Freighter Officer, this could be changed due to operational requirements.
- Training all staff in airside trucking freighter operation to a high standard.
- To support the Duty Manager in the control of daily levels and managing overtime.
- You must be able to carry out Smart Audits and Morse entries.
- You will be required to control and monitor the maintenance and defects on all Menzies Equipment.
- You must be open to any further development to improve the freighter ATK operation.
- Any other duties as instructed by your line manager.

- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
- Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Must have AVSEC Security Level CO certification or higher.
- You must have an Airside Driving Permit.
- You must hold a valid airside pass.
- You must be a good team player.
- You will have good numeracy and communication skills
- Airside and freighter operations experience +2 years
- You must be trained on all GSE freighter pooling equipment.
- You must support Airside Trucking when we have no freighters in operation.
