**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensure operational activities are conducted in compliance with Company and International Standards including the Health and Safety at Work Act, GSOP/GAPS Requirements, and relevant sections of the Aviation Security Act.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Ensure all airside training requirements are met by ensuring a suitable training schedule is in place
- Maintain all training records via our learning management systems - PIT, GIA and QPulse.
- Design and deliver in-house training courses.
- Be able to deliver all airside training for example GSE training, ADP training, Ramp inductions, Airside supervisor, advanced ULD and mass and balance ( relevant training will be provided to enable this)
- Assist in the delivery of non-technical mandatory training.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Motivate, coach and support all airside employees to feel confident and competent in their role.
- Identify training requirements.
- Champion organisational initiatives; CIS, CIM, Performance Dialogue Boards.
**You’ll bring to this role**:
- Sound knowledge of airside operations and/or transport training
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient and approachable.
- Self-motivated with ability to motivate staff.
- Prioritise workload of self and others.
- Able to make ‘dynamic’ decisions.
- Have good planning and organising skills.
- Able to interact with staff from other departments.
- Knowledge of phonetic alphabet.
- Must meet criteria for issue of an Airport Pass.
- Must hold a full driving licence.
- A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
