**Summary of position**

This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Quality and Risk Surveillance SME, to become integral in working with all stakeholders involved in the implementation of our EHR system. You will support the Risk Manager and work closely with the Clinical Safety Officer, for the safe deployment across the HCA group. Adopting a positive organisational and innovative approach that embraces a patient safety and risk focused within the change process of patient systems, during the duration of the project.

With your strong stakeholder relationship skills you will lead on reporting updates on the EHR project from a Quality and Assurance perspective. Directly be involved in compliance, audit and risk, process mapping, continuous monitoring and verification at each stage of the EHR project. You will be focussed on guiding and presenting best practice procedures, methods, and conditions before and after the implementation phases, to ensure identification, management and monitoring any risks realting to clinical delivery, quality and patient safety, are flagged, recorded and responded to.

You will be
- Support in the developing robust quality and assurance systems, associated to the EHR project, ensuring they are in line with operational and governance policies.
- You will engage with the project stakeholders and wider clinical leads in the group to establish local systems and practice in place now, translate to the implementation of the new Electronic Health Records.
- You will monitor and report gaps or shortfalls in compliance, work with the Risk Manager to partner Clinical Change Leads, implementing a standardised approach to ensuring a robust risk management frameworks are in place, assuring regulatory and statutory compliance are not compromised during change and beyond implementation. Including development and delivery of training material.
- Providing highly developed specialist knowledge of Clinical Quality and Assurance, underpinned by theory, evidence and experience, in relation to implementing change, relating to quality assurance, health and safety, performance and improved outcomes, including trend analysis and themes, relating to digital health solutions.
- Oversee reporting, improvement, project and digital elements of the service delivery.
- Ensuring data is available to required deadlines and robust data analysis and trend analysis, overseeing outputs to support performance and outcome monitoring, throughout implementation and post implementation of the new EHR.

**Successful applicants will need;**
- Public or Private hospital healthcare experience, with expert experience in Clinical Quality Assurance and Risk teams, in a lead role.
- Involvement in implementing and maintaining, clinical effectiveness, audit, quality improvement and patient experience within a hospital, during change in process, or policy ideally EHR implementation.
- Ability to design and lead on communication and reporting to multi-disciplinary team members.
- Ability to compile data, present reports, and frameworks of reference relating to clinical pathways, audits, quality and risk associated to change management.
- Methodical approach to work and excellent time management skills; including working to tight deadlines.
- Experience with digital transformation relating to patient care, involved in change management projects within a hospital setting, from a clinical governance perspective.
