Norwich, United Kingdom JTL Full time

Do you believe that talent matters? We do. As the leading training provider to the building services engineering sector, JTL is helping to create a new breed of apprentice - skilled men and women of all ages, all backgrounds and practically every community and race. Our objective is simple: to help them become the very best at what they do.

So, if you’re a qualified trades professional, there has never been a better time - or place - to transition into a career as a Training Officer.

This is not simply an extension of being an electrician: it is a direct route into the vocational skills sector that will allow you to build on your first-class technical and communication abilities as you guide learners through their Apprenticeship including formal assessment of competence.

To meet this challenge, you must already be fully qualified in electrical installation and have verifiable industry experience that includes current knowledge of the working practices and techniques required in a building services engineering environment. Some involvement in Government training schemes and NVQ training would be a real advantage, as would assessor qualifications such as D32 and D33, A1 or TAQA. And if you have an 18th Edition (7671:2018) qualification, so much the better. But as long as you have the core skills and competencies we’re looking for; our excellent professional training programme will do the rest.

Although based from home, you will need to live in** **the** Norwich** or surrounding areas and be willing to travel regularly. In addition to the salary, there is an excellent benefits package that includes a flexible working pattern, ongoing training and development, an occupational pension scheme, private medical insurance, and 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

We welcome applicants from all sections of the community. JTL is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all its employees to share this commitment in conjunction with the requirements of the Prevent Duty and the positive promotion of modern British values.

**An Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.**

**Essential Requirements**:Qualified Electrician, NVQ Level 3, recognised Apprenticeship or equivalent. Driving Licence and use of a car.
