**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring that all transactions are posted in Xero
- Liaising with members of staff to correct any problems encountered with financial transactions
- Monthly payroll duties
- Helping accountants to prepare quarterly VAT returns and annual accounts
- Oversight - preparing weekly/monthly/ quarterly reports for the management
- Credit control
- Ensuring timely payment of suppliers
- Banking and reconciliation
- Assisting with cash flow projections
- Monitoring the bank account
- Managing expenses
- Pension scheme admin
- Liaising with accountants
- Managing insurance policies

**About you**
- Ability to work with accounting and general IT systems.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to check data
- Must be good at data manipulation and excel formatting
- Excellent time management skills
- Extremely organised and adaptable
- Must be highly numerate and extremely diligent
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Determined and self-reliant

**Essential Skills Required**
- Experienced in using Xero or similar software
- Strong in Excel or Google Sheets
- 1 year experience with general finance tasks or AAT Level 4
- Familiar with online banking

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
