We are looking for an Evening Receptionist to work Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 5.00pm to 9.30pm at our centre in Birmingham

**Dimensions of the Job**:
To be well-organised, well-presented and reliable. To provide a welcoming presence on reception, to meet and greet clients, have an excellent telephone manner and to be able to provide general administrative support. To be customer service focused, have good IT and communication skills. To work with a wide range of people, follow instructions and procedures, work accurately and methodically and be patient and understanding.

Working as part of the appointments team, there may be some flexibility in working hours to provide holiday and sickness cover when required, including at other locations on occasion.

**KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To provide a warm friendly welcome to clients arriving at the centre
- Deal with enquiries, either in person or via the telephone from people wanting information or wishing to making appointments.
- To record all contact with clients
- Take client payments using our Worldpay virtual terminal and accurately record them
- Undertake general duties as required such as offering or booking appointments, chasing unpaid appointments, taking accurate messages and returning calls, evening group sessions and room hire
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information
- At the end of the evening session to ensure that the building is left clean safe and secure
- To always remain on the premises when counselling is taking place.
- Following safety procedures in the event of an emergency
- Light cleaning duties as required

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**

**Essential**
- Excellent reception and administrative skills
- Good IT skills, using Microsoft O365
- Be patient and understanding when dealing with people who may be anxious or upset.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work
- Ability work effectively within a team
- Client-centred approach to service delivery and ability to deal sensitively with the public
- Be flexible to meet service requirements and willing to travel to different locations if necessary
