**Finance Assistant**
**Duties include**
- Making sure that customers and suppliers accounts are accurate and reconciled, maintaining the purchase ledger.
- Processing payments, expenses, supplier payments & ad hoc payments, including liaising with suppliers.
- Inputting data into a computer-based accounting system and excel spreadsheets, providing analysis and reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
- Manage petty cash transactions and reconciliations, working with remote teams and Head Office.
- Administration tasks and answer any queries raised by staff or staff in any other departments, in relation to purchase ledger or payments.
- Chasing up outstanding debt
- Updating filing systems
- Maintaining office supplies
- Data inputting
- Preparing copies of reports
**Minimum Qualifications**
- GCSE English
- GCSE Mathematics
**Skills**
- Team worker
- Conscientious
- Responsible
- Flexible attitude
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge and experience of Sage Accounts
- Driving Licence
