**About us**:
Student and Registry Services is one of the larger Professional Services divisions at UCL, providing essential services to UCL’s 50,000 students, 160,000 applicants and for supporting academic departments and administrative staff in delivering a high-quality student experience.

UCL’s Education Services department is part of Student and Registry Services and is responsible for providing a range of services that centre around UCL’s education and student experience policy framework. The department plays a key role in ensuring that our regulation, policy, and student engagement framework support the delivery of UCL’s education strategy and our compliance with Office for Students ‘B conditions’. The teams within Education Service are Student Casework, Academic Policy, Quality and Standards (APQS) and Student Engagement.

**About the role**:
The Education Quality Administrator is the first point of contact for enquiries to the APQS team that relate to UCL’s External Examiners (EEs) for taught programmes of study They are also responsible for: processing the nominations and payment of fees and expenses for EEs; supporting committee work; contributing to, and maintaining, the web content for the team; and for providing administrative support to the wider Education Services team. The role is part of a wider team who are all working to deliver on shared priorities, directed towards delivering the ambitions in UCL's Education Strategy, providing an excellent experience for our students, and ensuring compliance with relevant external requirements

This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.

**About you**:
You will possess strong organisational skills, being able to skilfully manage a large and varied workload whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will be an effective communicator, able to advise colleagues in faculties, departments and other professional services teams on the work for which you are responsible. You will have an interest in process improvement and a commitment to supporting enhancement of our educational and student experience. You will have experience of supporting meetings and taking minutes, and have a flexible and helpful approach to work, with a willingness to learn new skills and broaden your knowledge of how a large and complex institution is run.
