To support and contribute to the sport and wellness offer within the service, liaising
with the clients in organising trips /activities/transport/facilities etc.

**Key Responsibilities**
**and Accountabilities**:

- Assist in the delivery of the University BUCS sport program in conjunction

with the Development staff.
- To support with requests for assistance/events/activities etc.
- To support with the distribution to club officers all relevant information

/guidelines /training to run and develop an effective club.
- To assist in the creation/development of new opportunities for students.
- To liaise with club officers to engage them in other student led development

groups/committees.
- To promote and support on cross Student journey issues, including student

safety, SUPA, Active bystander, wellbeing etc.
- To support the SDM and team in the organisation of Institute of Sport’s

annual events such as fresher’s fayre/Varsity etc.
- To contribute to the production of the club’s handbook and other related

materials along with other staff.
- To attend the clubs committee meetings to help the way the IOS develops

its offer.
- To attend any events/activities that will promote the service/institution both

internal and external.
- Produce and monitor membership lists that will be generated through our

database.

**Qualifications and Professional Memberships**:

- Degree or higher.
- Good general level of education to include English and Maths at GCSE

level.
**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Computer literacy and general office skills including word
- processing/excel- Knowledge of social media trends and opportunities.
- Good level of written and verbal communication skills, able to deal
- with the public, face to face and on the telephone- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Customer care and general administrative duties
- Organisational and time management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative
- Loyalty and a committed team player who enjoys promoting the
