We are offering a rare opportunity for the right person to join an established team and childcare service on a part time basis.

**About the role**

The successful applicant will be required to be responsible alongside other Childcare Officers for the provision of high-quality childcare and education to children from birth to five years. You should have a basic ability to use a computer and software to carry out the roles and responsibilities of a key person including observations and assessments of individual key children ensuring that children’s individual needs are met.

The position will require you to play a full role in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum and ensure all required Ofsted, University and Service Policy, procedures and practices are implemented.

**Please note that the working days for this role are Wednesday to Friday.**

**What you can bring**

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and creative individual who has a passion for the Early Years. We require applicants to have a level 3 or above qualification in childcare and education. All applicants will require a DBS prior to starting.

Be able to demonstrate an outstanding knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum, the welfare requirements, and the development of children from birth to five years.
