As Communications Assistant, you’ll support the Chief Communications Officer in developing awareness of the Avanti brand. This role will have a strong focus on bringing to life the Avanti Communications story and company culture.

Responsibilities will include the creation and delivery of communications, PR & social materials and supporting communications campaigns (both internal and external) working closely with the Marketing and HR teams at Avanti.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**

**Internal Communications**:

- Explore and develop innovative ways to communicate with staff, including interactive dynamic media including video, polls, surveys, blogs, and vlogs
- Draft and share news stories via our employee intranet and co-ordinate central messaging to ensure information is accurate, engaging and up to date
- Assist with planning and promotion of internal and external corporate events including Roadshows, Townhalls, and employee events across all international locations
- Support in the creation on internal presentations and reports as required
- Run the internal onboarding experience day, facilitating a smooth and engaging introductory day for all new joiners at Avanti

**External Communications**:

- Draft social media and web content according to the company’s social media strategy that raises the external profile of the organisation
- Actively seek out relevant media opportunities to promote Avanti’s external brand and increase its reputation
- Support in the preparation of media briefings and travel materials for executive media engagements
- Maintain and update a relevant media contact list, keeping an eye out for new and emerging publication
- Create coverage round ups after a PR campaign, assessing it’s reach and success

**Skills & Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- Excellent presentation, communication and networking skills gained within a communications / marketing department (agency or in-house) you’ll have a great understanding of PR, digital media, and internal communications.
- Attention to Detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven stakeholder management experience

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience of working in Technology would be advantageous but not required
