Clarity has a team that looks to rapidly scale startups, and in particular those that push the boundaries of technology and/or are purpose led. Examples of startups that Clarity has worked with range from geolocation genius What3Words, gaming software Improbable, and payments innovator Wise (formerly TransferWise).

This team, which is global, is looking for an account executive based in the UK to help deliver its services. Whilst there is a current focus on PR, we’re developing a range of marketing services that we’ll deliver (or deliver through partners) so marketing communication experience in general is welcomed.
- Account Executives play a core role in the effective delivery of services through the team as well as with other partner organisations.
- You will have 1-2 years experience in PR / marketing communications
- You’ll be Intellectually curious, eager to learn and evolve. This role suits someone who’s willing to rapidly learn new things, pushing boundaries of what’s possible from you and others in internal as well as external consultancy.

**Your responsibilities**
- Ensure the smooth-running of partner relationships through the creation and maintenance of essential materials and processes, ie updating of plans, deliverables, client agendas
- Be comfortable supporting a wide variety of communications platforms, including developing influencer and media networks; drafting, getting approval and posting social media content; developing a familiarity with relevant events and conferences.
- Create materials and documents to a client ready standard, ensuring their accuracy
- Assist with the research and development of marketing plans for partners
- Build an understanding of clients’ businesses and their industry sectors, by reading relevant media, subscribing to newsletters, consuming online content, as well as the start up / venture capital sector in general
- Be comfortable and have experience in external outreach in either a sales or a PR environment

- Especially important is the ability to manage up

**Commercial Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge and make significant contributions to the team
- Help support organisational efforts (company marketing, professional development opportunities, recruitment, team culture and socials, etc.)
- Develop an understanding and support commercial goals of clients whilst balancing this with our Partners goals

**Business Development Responsibilities**
- Support development and presentation of new business proposals in coordination with colleagues
- Participate in new business brainstorms
- Actively participate in outbound marketing activities to bring in new business

**Personal and Professional Responsibilities**
- Keep abreast of developments and innovations in the consultancy industry, making time to learn about new thinking or techniques that may be applied to our client work
- Show a flexible and keen approach to helping grow our knowledge base
