We are looking for a talented individual to join our clients' accounts team as a Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger Administrator, you will be working Monday to Friday 40 hours a week and you will be part of an existing team based in Leicester, our client islooking for a team player and will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, with a willingness to learn.
As the Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger Administrator, the role will involve collecting debts in a professional and timely manner, for all customers. Ensuring, all Sales Invoices are raised in time & managing customers ledgers. Ensuring where possible, efficienciesin processes are made.
As the Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger Administrator, we have listed some of the duties below
Raising Sales related documents on NAV - Opening New accounts; Using Credit Procedure in place & Control Bad Debt provision levels - Posting Customers Payments and Reconciling Debtor Ledgers
Authorising release of orders where credit limits have been exceeded (in accordance with guidelines in place)
Completing tasks in a timely manner in accordance with set deadlines; Ensuring Aged Debt controlled
Liaise with other departments to resolve queries and disputes causing payment delays
Work at pace and have the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Perform ad-hoc tasks to meet the needs of the business
To be successful as the Purchase Ledger Administrator / Sales Ledger Administrator, we are looking for the following attributes
Credit Control - debt chasing experience
Have basic knowledge of managing Sales Ledger Accounts
Technically strong with working experience of reconciling accounts to strict deadlines
Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadline are met
Excellent IT skills (Word, MS excel, Outlook) and experience of Dynamics NAV an advantage
Takes a proactive approach to work
Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks; Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
A strong communicator, confidently and accurately able to communicate through verbal and written forms
Demonstrate reliability and flexibility, as well as comfortable and capable of working as a team.
