We are working with an award winnig company based in Upminster looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their established finance team.
This is a great role in a company which offers great development and opportunity.
As a Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the 7 Purchase Ledger Clerks and dealing with escalations. You also review and approve payments runs and ad-hoc payments prior to group level, ensuring all payments are properly authorisedand queried items are not paid until resolved. Also assisting with Month End reviews and reporting.
- Purchase Ledger experience gained within a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience supervising a team
- Exceptional Excel skills from VLOOKUPS, Formulas and pivot tables, not only will you be able to use these skills but will be able to create and formulate as required to enable you to work at a fast pace.
- Resilient, and a tenacious confident communicator who is able to build long lasting relationships with your suppliers.
- Ability to challenge and rectify any issues your supplier may have
- Excellent communicator at all levels written and verbal.
- Methodical and have great attention to detail.
- Knowledge of CIS Government Scheme beneficial
- Knowledge of Infor or Sun Accounts beneficial

This is a hybrid based role with 2 days based in the office.
