We’re headquartered in Brighton, with our teams working remotely across the UK. **Applicants must have the right to work in the UK** and we ask that applicants be within reasonable commuting distance to Brighton as this role will be required in the office at least twice a week.

**The Role**

We are looking for a **part time** Operations Assistant** who will help ensure the team’s practical needs are met; acting as the point of contact for people needing input or support with HR, employee experience and managing general day to day admin. This role doesn’t need you to be an expert at any of these things, but getting to know our policies, systems and suppliers will be essential so you can help resolve challenges directly.

This role would suit someone who is experienced in business or agency operations, who can communicate well, is organised, and willing to have a go at things they've not done before.

This is a mid-level role, which has the potential/ is expected to grow to expand in scope as the company grows.

You will report into the Finance and Operations Director and be supported by the Senior Leadership team.

**Key responsibilities**

**People**
- Supporting team-members by pointing them in the right direction in time of need; acting as the point of contact for people needing input or support with IT, HR and assistance with the office.
- Helping maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS (BambooHR)
- Assist with recruitment needs and relevant calendar management
- Issuing employee contracts and amendments, as required
- Liaise with external HR support to resolve matters in a timely manner
- Manage employee benefit onboarding and offboarding
- Liaise with line managers to onboard and offboard employees
- Coordination of team contributions to fortnightly learning sessions and facilitating team training opportunities
- General oversight and assistance with the employee experience
- Management of the employee experience budget

**Operations**
- General office admin assistance including meeting room, company quarterly and travel bookings
- General purchasing and receipts reconciliation
- Administering and filing of company contracts
- Coordination and hosting of key weekly meetings and communication points
- Assistance and familiarity with Apple Mac laptops and set up
- Support with adhoc reporting for finance team
- Ad hoc admin duties

> Any experience with ISO 9001 and 27001 certifications, GDPR and data compliance and asset management is also a huge bonus.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills, oral and in writing, suitable for a remote team
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good spreadsheet and data skills
- Demonstrating proactivity - Do the things that need doing, quickly

**Working Hours**

20 hours a week - 4 hours a day, 5 days a week

**Salary**

£30-35,000 per annum, pro rata and DOE
