SVP Rights(Job Number: UK 0543)

**Description**

You will work with the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Executive Officer to manage rights holder relationships and budget.

Plus look to develop and drive our acquisition strategy. Managing existing and future rights holders. Working both internal stakeholders to build and identify potential strategic partnerships and joint venture opportunities.

You will need to formulate rights acquisition and implementation strategies across multiple sports ranging from tier 1 rights (e.g Serie A) to cash and value-in-kind deals (technology and services in exchange for rights) for lower tier rights (e.g. Moldova)

Working with sales team and finance to implement a clear and concise plan to grow revenues and maintain profitability.

You will need to continuously refine workflows and communication for rights management and business development. You will need to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to support with approaching new targets and define the communication strategy for rights acquired. You will need to manage a team that encompasses operational, strategic and account management.

A strong understanding of how the betting and gaming sports media sector operates is essential. Critically you will need to be able to evaluate, present and close business critical opportunities on a global scale for Stats Perform.

Working closely with following Exco members:

- General Counsel
- Chief Betting Officer
- Chief Revenue Officer
- Chief Product Officer
- Chief Financial Officer

You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer, which will involve assigning proposals and analysis tasks across the team and providing support where needed with the output.

You’ll also be passionate about developing your team and creating opportunities for their progression.

**KEY DELIVERABLES**

Oversee overall rights budget, managing cost control and profitbaility

Expand relationships with Federations and Agencies to grow SP’s stature within the industry

Managing key stakeholder needs (sales, product and marketing)

Develop proposal frameworks that clearly position SP’s and explain what we can offer rights holders

Oversee competitor analysis in relation to rights owned

Provide regular progress reports, analysis and updates to SP executive board

**CORE SKILLS REQUIRED**

You’ll be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Sports market, overall rights process and how to identify new valuable opportunities for SP

You’ll be able to demonstrate that you can secure multiple deals

You’ll need to have excellent negotiation skills to drive the strategy forward
