Head of E-commerce

**ABOUT YOU**:
**THE ROLE**:
This is a high profile role within the organisation, sitting on the senior leadership team and reporting to the Managing Director.
- Lead the technical team in the design, development, and maintenance of the e-commerce platform.
- Lead and manage migration projects involving Shopify and other systems to ensure smooth transitions and data integrity.
- Oversee the integration and optimisation of CRM systems to enhance customer relationship management.
- Leverage prior experience with ERP systems e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, for seamless integration and operational efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration of various systems including cloud based call centre software e.g. Genesys, to create a cohesive and efficient e-commerce ecosystem.
- Monitor key performance metrics and analytics to identify opportunities for optimisation and enhancement.
- Define and implement technical strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.
- Partner with the growth marketing team and Ux/Ui/CRO partners to identify conversion rate opportunities across the site.
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the e-commerce platform, optimising for speed and efficiency.
- Oversee the implementation of security best practices to protect customer data and prevent cyber threats.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and technology partners.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in e-commerce technology, incorporating relevant innovations into our platform.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching to technical team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain processes for code review, quality assurance, and deployment to ensure the integrity and stability of the e-commerce platform.
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
**Shift pattern**:Monday - Friday 09:00- 17:30
**Salary**:£60,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependant on experience
**Location**:Hybrid with Norwich office (discussion on interview)
**Start date**: ASAP
