Exciting opportunity to join the Therapy leadership team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust
**This role will have responsibility for**:
- The strategic and operational leadership for the paediatric Therapy services across the MSE.
- Ensuring the Therapy provided meets its service users’ needs.
- Working closely with all areas of paediatrics and ensure the highest standard of therapy is provided.
- To be part of any further strategic planning for the expansion/ development of paediatric Therapy services across the MSE.
- Linking with and providing feedback to the Therapy Leadership - Clinical Director and General Manager.
This post will involve cross site working at all MSEFT sites.
**The main duties of the job are**:
- To ensure the service meets its service users needs
- To identify best practice and how this can be achieved
- To work across the MSE to ensure a standardised service
- To streamline processes across the MSE so service users are seen in the right place at the right time
- To link with stakeholders to raise Therapy profile
- To ensure smooth running of the Therapy Paediatric service
- To complete data collection and audits to show effectiveness of the service
- To develop Therapy KPI’s in conjunction with stakeholders and service users

- To be accountable for all aspects of the Therapy component of the paediatric service
- To escalate concerns and issues to the Therapy leadership team
- To report back on a regular basis to the General Manager for Therapies
- To adhere to all aspects of IG
- To keep accurate and up to date data to support and evidence the effectiveness of the service
