If you have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in the last 3 years, we would love to hear from you

Position: Residential Children Support Worker

Location: Birmingham, UK

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
- Own car and a full driving license in the UK.
- Must possess an updated DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
- Individuals who have resided outside the UK for more than 6 months within the last 5 years should provide a valid Police Clearance certificate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive care and support to children in a residential setting.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support children in daily activities, including personal care, education, and recreational pursuits.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
